Your Responsibilities as a Box Truck Driver
We rely on our box truck drivers as a key part of our team. You are responsible for ensuring expedited and overnight deliveries are completed as scheduled and delivering limited access or special deliveries as promised. Responsibilities expected of our box truck driving jobs include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Be available for both daytime and overnight driving shifts across the United States
- Pick up and drop off goods at designated points according to your schedule
- Transport dry goods from one point to another on box trucks
- Know how to use and monitor the high-tech features in the truck (such as automated route map systems, temperature controls, etc.)
- Assemble/disassemble items that require assembly and/or disassembly both prior to and after shipping
- Inspect and fix minor mechanical issues on-road
- Document the entire transit on an electronic logging device
- Comply with company safety rules and capacity standards during transit
- Report accidents, violations, and any other issues experienced en route
Qualifications for Our Box Truck Drivers

- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must have at least 2 years of OTR experience
- Must not have any driving violations within the last 5 years
- Must be familiar with using an electronic logging device (ELD)
